Laura Ainsworth is our Adult Community Support Coordinator for the Hear to Help service here at The Ear Foundation in Nottingham.
The aim of the Hear 2 Help project is to provide hearing aid maintenance, advice and support within the local community to NHS hearing aid users via Drop In Clinics, Care Home visits, Sheltered Housing visits and Home visits.
We also provide Care Home and Home visits as required and training to carers and support workers for those people working with and around hearing loss and hearing aids.

We currently run 18 Drop In Clinics in the Nottingham area, and we are hoping to extend this service to the more rural areas, where people are particularly more isolated, please see below a list of all our current Drop In Clinics:
We are actively seeking local volunteers to support our Drop In Clinics throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Currently we are looking for clinic volunteers to help us with the running of specific clinics as well as welcome hosts, for more information on both of these volunteer roles please see the links below.
