If you would like any further information about our fundraising events, and if there are any events that you are arranging that you would like to announce, please send an email to our Fundraiser, Jo Collinson - jo@earfoundation.org.uk

Sunday 12 September – Robin Hood Marathon

We have again teamed up with the organisers of the Robin Hood Marathon, and will have a limited number of places available.

If you would like to run for The Ear Foundation, we can provide you with an Entry place, sponsorship forms and a cheer, as you pass us on Sherwin Road!

Take a look at the official website and get in touch with jo@earfoundation.org.uk for more information and to register for a place.

Sunday 19 September – Wollaton Park Walk

Following the success of last year's Hear, Talk & Walk events around the UK, one of our parents has volunteered to organise a similar event at Wollaton Park in Nottingham on 19th September.

If you are interested in coming along, get in touch with Richard Lord either by emailing him on thelords@sky.com or phone 07887 572240.

The event is hoped to bring families of profoundly deaf children and adults together on a short 5k walk around the picturesque Wollaton Park, and afterwards enjoy a picnic, or simply use the facilites the Park offers - all are welcome to come along.

For further details contact Richard or Jo.

Friday 3 December – Christmas Ball

Another of our Annual events is The Ear Foundation Christmas Ball.

In its beautiful surroundings, Prestwold Hall, nr Loughborough, has a wonderful ambience particularly at Christmas time, with its fine quality food and service – it seems to get better each year.

If you would be interested in attending this year, contact jo@earfoundation.org.uk
