Deafness and Education International journal
Deafness and Education International is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Maney Publishing, in alliance with British Association of Teachers of the Deaf and the National Australian Association of Teachers of the Deaf (NAATD).
The journal provides a forum for teachers and other professionals involved with the education and development of deaf infants, children and young people, and readily welcome relevant contributions from this area of expertise.
Submissions may fall within the areas of linguistics, education, personal-social and cognitive developments of deaf children, spoken language, sign language, deaf culture and traditions, audiological issues, cochlear implants, educational technology and educational issues that impinge on deaf children and young people.
The types of submissions considered include research papers, work in progress reports, reviews, survey articles, conference reports and response to previously published articles. Cochlear Implants International is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Maney Publishing.
The journal includes scientific contributions from all the disciplines represented in cochlear implant teams: audiology, medicine and surgery, speech therapy and speech pathology, psychology, hearing therapy, radiology, pathology, engineering and acoustics, teaching and communication.
The journal publishes original scientific research, case studies, audits of results, descriptions of original concepts and devices, and short reports of work in progress.

The Ear Foundation is a member of the EURO-CIU and hosted the Symposium in 2007.

Congratulations to all five of our London Marathon Runners 2010, who between them raised approx £6,400!
A huge thank you from everyone here at The Ear Foundation to James Callaghan, Kelvin Cooper, Matthew Jeary, Sheree McCormick and Helen Wilson.
