Accommodation is available at The Ear Foundation
Named after our late president, Marjorie Sherman, this house provides residential facilities for implanted children and their families. Prior to its development, families had to find and fund their own accommodation, or travel from afar on the day of an important tuning session.
Families can now stay together in the house before and after clinical appointments without the hassle of getting up early to travel or finding a hotel near to the Nottingham Cochlear Implant Centre or QMC.
Marjorie Sherman House has the following facilities:
- Three Bedrooms all with single beds
- Two bathrooms and an additional WC
- An Accessible bedroom on the Ground Floor which has en-suite facilites
- Fitted Kitchen with a Washing Machine, Fridge Freezer and Dryer
- Dining Room
- A sitting room with TV
- Play Room
- An Information Room
- A Large spacious Garden to the rear
- Car Parking right in front of the house
If you have an upcoming appointment and would like to stay in the house you can contact Richard on telephone number 0115 9421985, by fax 0115 9249054 or by email richard@earfoundation.org.uk
