Afternoon Tea at Prestwold Hall
On Friday, 9th June, 72 guests were treated to a beautiful Afternoon Tea at the stunning Prestwold Hall near Loughborough. The sun shone and people could wander around the grounds and walk through the Orangery, or listen to Jane & Neil Millensted playing the piano, before sitting down to a traditional Afternoon Tea.
Our sincere thanks go to the Mr & Mrs Packe-Drury-Lowe for allowing us to host this event at their home, and the management and staff at Prestwold Hall, who enabled The Ear Foundation to raise funds for the services we provide deaf children, young people and adults; and ofcourse Jane & Neil who provided such lovely music on the day too.
We were also grateful to those who donated prize to our Raffle including Strawberry Cupcakes, of Trent Bridge, Bistrot Pierre in Nottingham, Bliss Hairdressing for a Pamper Package, Mel Gregory for donating aL’Occitane Gift Set & Sue Archbold for donating a bottle for Cava and Chocolates.
We are delighted that The Ear Foundation raised a very healthy £1,259! So a big thank you to all who supported this new fundraising event!
Watch this space to see if we are able to run another next year!
