Connect & Communicate

Connect and Communicate is The Ear Foundation's Family Programme which provides activities for deaf children, young adults and their families providing opportunites to get together, learn about hearing technologies throughout the year.

There are a wide range of activities which should appeal to the whole age range, including adults and teenagers:

BABY MORNINGS:

READY STEADY GO GROUPS:

SPECIAL BRANCH:

Music sessions for children with cochlear implants and additional & complex needs, and their families.If you would like more information then please speak to Suzanne Harrigan, our SLT, by emailing suzanne@earfoundation.org.uk

SPECIAL ISSUE DAYS:

One-day events for parents, with fun activities for the children. Topics include: - Preparing for primary school - Preparing for secondary school - Managing behaviour - Leaping on with language (supporting your primary-aged child's language development) - Ready Steady Go (helping your pre-school child to listen and communicate)

TEENZ PROGRAMME:

Saturday sessions for deaf teenagers with cochlear implants. More information about our Teens days can be found by emailing julie@earfoundation.org.uk
