Our Dukes Barn Activity Camp is an action packed week full of adventure, challenges and friendship building. We have a great week planned aimed to boost self-esteem and confidence in the young people, who all share a unique understanding of what it is like to be a deaf young person living with a cochlear implant, hearing aid or bone anchored hearing implant.
The residential is staffed by Teachers of the Deaf, Speech and Language Therapists and an excellent team of volunteers who are experienced in working with deaf young people, our residentials were awarded OUTSTANDING in all areas in 2016, which should give you the confidence that your young person is in the best hands.
During the week there will be lots of outdoor activities for the young people to get involved in i.e. canoeing, caving, water streaming, etc at the Dukes Barn Activity Camp. On the final night of the residential there will be a Talent Show for all the young people to get involved with and to showcase their talents.
