Course Description:
Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder (ANSD) is the new term recently adopted t cover a range of difficulties previously described as Auditory Neuropathy and Auditory dis-synchrony, and reflects the growing understanding of the condition. This one day course will draw on specialist expertise in this area and explore the most recent thinking about the condition, what we know and how to manage it. The course will outline in particular the complex issues when assessing these children for cochlear implantation and the implications for future management
