Course Description:
There is an abundance of research to show that young children with cochlear implants are learning to listen and talk. But, as schooling progresses, language requirements become more and more complex. How can we help children with cochlear implants cope with the level of abstract language and reasoning that is needed as they grow up? This workshop will look at how to increase the opportunities for developing these skills within the curriculum, including time for group discussions. and video feed back.
