Education
Welcome to our programme of courses for parents of deaf children and for all those working with deaf children with cochlear implants, Bone-Anchored Hearing Aids (Baha) and other Technologies - although many of our courses will also be relevant to those supporting children with hearing aids too.
The majority of our courses take place at The Ear Foundation from 10 am to 4 pm. This timing will give 5 hours training credit and Certificates of Attendance are issued.
Lunch and refreshments are provided in the course fee; for those travelling longer distances there is limited self-catering accommodation here at The Ear Foundation at an additional charge of £40 per person per night. Please apply in good time as rooms get fully booked at an early stage.
There is limited parking at The Ear Foundation, but it is first come first served! The local council are trying to encourage the use of public transport so parking restrictions have been introduced in some neighbouring streets. We are about 10 minutes by taxi from the Railway Station and 30 minutes from Nottingham East Midlands Airport.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that courses will be run as advertised, unfortunately it may be necessary to cancel a course due to circumstances beyond our control. In such situations The Ear Foundation cannot be responsible for any travel costs that may be incurred by delegates. Please take this into consideration when booking your travel tickets.
