We have two BAHA information days in 2011. These days are open to all who would like to learn more about a BAHA and for those that would like to speak to professionals and BAHA users in an informal and friendly environment.
BAHA Information Day for Families

The decision to have a BAHA (Bone-Anchored Hearing Aid) can be a difficult process.
This day aims to provide a wide range of information about BAHA manufacturers and professionals involved in assessment and surgery.
The day will also enable potential users and their families to meet experienced BAHA users enabling them to discuss first-hand experience.
The course will give you:
•A general overview of how a BAHA works, and what the process of having a BAHA involves •An understanding of the assessment and surgical procedures •The opportunity to meet other people who are making similar choices •The opportunity to meet experienced BAHA users •The opportunity to discuss particular devices with manufacturers •An understanding of the long-term maintenance required £10 per family

BAHA Information Day for Professionals & Audiologists
25th April 2012
BAHA technology is developing rapidly and recently there have been significant developments in the technology.
This day aims to bring audiologists and professionals up to date with current devices, assessment and referral criteria for the use of BAHA for single-sided deafness.
Representatives from the manufacturers of the two devices currently available will be present throughout the day.
This course will give you:
•A general overview of BAHA technology •An update on the current research •Consideration of BAHA for single-sided deafness including outcomes •Case Studies •The opportunity to discuss current devices in detail with manufacturers •Opportunities for discussion with colleagues and to share good practices £50 per delegate
